OC Vice Chair Katrina Foley Celebrates National Night Out
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA — Yesterday, Orange County Supervisor Katrina Foley joined Costa Mesa, Irvine, Laguna Beach, and Newport Beach Police Departments in promoting police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie on National Night Out.
“Orange County remains among the safest communities in the nation thanks to the tireless work of our Orange County Sheriff’s Department and local police departments. With seven of the top 10 safest California cities, Orange County is a place where families thrive. National Night Out offers families a chance to meet local peace officers, learn about neighborhood watch and youth explorer programs, and share a family friendly evening in the park,” said Vice Chair Katrina Foley. “Last night, families enjoyed learning about community safety, exploring squad cars, and meeting our peace officers. When we get to know our neighbors and those who keep us safe, we build a safer community for us all to call home.”
