ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA — Following a successful 2024, Supervisor Katrina Foley released the 2024 Year in Review for her office. Highlights include:
- More than $1.25 Billion returned to Orange County from DC and Sacramento
- Public Safety initiatives including E-Bike Safety Ordinance, Nitrous Oxide ban, and clearing of 1,265 homeless encampments
- Development of 714 new affordable and permanent supportive housing units for Veterans, seniors, families, and our workforce
- Public corruption prevention reforms to safeguard tax dollars
- Investments and support for small businesses and workforce development for OC’s economy.
“In 2024 my office was laser-focused on solving problems for everyday residents, including: returning more than $1.25 Billion to Orange County from D.C. and Sacramento, supporting public safety through commonsense e-bike safety ordinance, introducing a Nitrous Oxide ban, clearing 1,265 homeless encampments, developing 714 new affordable and permanent supportive housing units, fighting for reasonable regulation of sober living homes, and opposing all tax increases to residents,” said Supervisor Katrina Foley. “Looking toward the next year, my priorities remain the same: serve the people of Orange County, advocate for our community in D.C. and Sacramento, and fight for commonsense reforms that will allow the middle class and Orange County's economy to thrive in this beautiful paradise we call home.”
