USACE Dana Point Harbor Breakwater Repair Project
The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Dana Point Harbor Breakwater Project involves replacing displaced armor stone from the crest to the toe of the slope, both on the seaward and harbor sides, resetting existing stone to interlock with the new stone, dredging 45,000 cubic yards of sediment on the leeward side of the breakwater for equipment access and placement of the dredged material in nearshore waters located approximately 1.5 miles southwest near Capistrano Beach, and installing station markers atop the breakwater crest.
