OC Supervisor Katrina Foley Highlights John Wayne Airport Improvements and Updates, Climate Resiliency efforts, Healthcare Services enhancements, and grants for Library Services

ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA — Orange County Supervisor Katrina Foley commented on yesterday’s Board of Supervisors meeting, where the Board approved funding to strengthen health and public services, natural resource resiliency, and public services such as the library system and John Wayne Airport.  

7/10/24: Dana Point Harbor Advisory Committee Update

This month's Dana Point Harbor Oversight Advisory Committee (DPHOAC) meeting commenced with an update from Tyler Mosher, representing Supervisor Foley's office. There was positive news regarding the replenishment of the Capistrano and Doheny Beach shorelines. Mr. Mosher advised that 20,000 cubic yards of sand would be trucked in from the Santa Ana River to bolster these popular stretches of coastline.

OC Supervisor Katrina Foley Releases Statement on Blaze Bernstein Murder Trial Verdict

ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA — Orange County Supervisor Katrina Foley released a statement following the jury’s verdict on the trial surrounding the murder of Blaze Bernstein, a 19-year-old gay and Jewish Orange County resident killed in 2018. The jury found defendant Samuel Woodward guilty of first-degree hate-crime murder.
