Supervisor Katrina Foley to Host Investigative Hearing on Homelessness in Orange County

On Wednesday, April 20, 2022, Supervisor Katrina Foley will host an investigative hearing on homelessness in Orange County. Supervisor Foley will be joined by Chairman Doug Chaffee, several Orange County Mayors, law enforcement officials, nonprofit leaders, and other experts on homelessness

Supervisor Katrina Foley Calls on Mayor Harry Sidhu to Resign and Requests Audits for All OCTA and County Contracts with Angels Baseball and the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce

Orange County, California – Today, Orange County Supervisor Katrina Foley called on Anaheim Mayor Harry Sidhu to resign. Additionally, she called on the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA), for which Foley is a Director, and the County of Orange to audit any ongoing contracts with Angels Baseball and the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce.
 

Supervisor Katrina Foley Says State of the County Is Resilient, Adaptable, and Anchored by a Strong Foundation

Orange County, California –In her first Annual State of the County address, Supervisor Katrina Foley shared that the State of the County is resilient and able to adapt due to a strong foundation. The event was held at the Old Orange County Courthouse, which was completed in 1901 and stood the test of time, even as Orange County has dramatically changed around it.

SANTA ANA – Supervisor Katrina Foley has taken the oath of office for the 2nd District for the Orange County Board of Supervisors.

Foley was sworn in at noon on March 26th, at the Hall of Administration in Santa Ana. The Oath of Office was Administered by Superior Court Judge Karen L. Robinson, with Supervisor Foley’s family, key staff members attending.

SANTA ANA – Today, Supervisor Katrina Foley (District 2) announces eight new appointments to Orange County boards and commissions, which were approved at the April 14th, 2021 Board of Supervisors meeting.

SANTA ANA – Supervisor Katrina Foley (District 2) released the following statement in response to the individuals who wore paper Stars of David during the Board of Supervisors Meeting on Tuesday, April 13th. 

“I am dismayed and disappointed by the individuals who chose to compare our community health sickness prevention efforts to the genocidal actions of the Holocaust, and to wear yellow paper Stars of David at the Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday, in their protest of the voluntary Othena digital vaccine record.

Clinic to serve residents of the City of Costa Mesa’s 4th and 5th Districts

 

SANTA ANA – On Saturday, April 17th, Supervisor Katrina Foley (District 2) will be hosting her first vaccine clinic for residents of the City of Costa Mesa’s 4th and 5th districts. The clinic is the first in a series of weekly community vaccine clinics, which the Supervisor will host across the 2nd District over the next 100 days.
