Orange County, CA (May 10, 2022) – Today, Orange County Supervisor Katrina Foley released the following statement after the Board of Supervisors unanimously approved her proposal to allocate up to $1.2 million in American Rescue Plan Act funding to support Santa Ana Small Businesses impacted by ongoing streetcar construction and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Supervisor Katrina Foley and the Orange County Board of Supervisors Proclaim June as National Gun Violence Awareness Month

Orange County, California – Today, Orange County Supervisor Katrina Foley called on the Board of Supervisors to proclaim the month of June as National Gun Violence Awareness Month, which passed with unanimous Board support. Facing an increase in gun violence, both nationally and locally, Orange County recently experienced a hate crime and shooting at the Taiwanese Presbyterian church in Laguna Hills, which left one person dead and many others critically injured.

Supervisor Katrina Foley to Host Patriotic Flag Day Celebration at the Old County Courthouse on June 14, 2022

Orange County, CA - This Flag Day, Orange County Supervisor Katrina Foley will honor military personnel, firefighters, police officers, medical personnel, and other first responders on the 247th birthday of the United States Army. The celebration is co-hosted by the Exchange Club of Newport Harbor and will take place on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 4 p.m. at the historic Old Orange County Courthouse Lawn in Santa Ana. The Field of Flags will be on display beginning Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 9 a.m.
